MANILA, Philippines — Celebrities Anne Curtis, Nadine Lustre and Bianca Gonzalez reacted to the corruption scandal involving flood control projects across the country.

In her X account, Anne shared a quote from veteran broadcaster Jessica Soho.

"When Mam @KM_JessicaSoho said 'Hindi na pala baha ang magpapalubog aa ating bayan kungdi kasakiman' Sakit," Anne wrote.

Nadine, in an interview, said she shares the public's frustration over the flood control projects’ corruption.

“I’m really sad seeing people struggling, losing their homes, livelihood, pets, because we can’t find a solution,” she said.

“Nakaka-galit, nakaka-lungkot na 'yung binibigay natin na buwis sa ganon napupunta. Nakakainis talaga. It is sad funds are being used for something else,” she added.

Bianca, meanwhile, took a swipe at corrupt officials’ kids for posting their lavish lifestyles.

"My feed filled with posts on the lavish lifestyle of kids of corrupt officials.... and here we are, mga walang generational wealth o nakaw na yaman, na kumakayod araw araw, na minsa'y nahihiya pa magpost ng travel o ng nabili kasi baka 'mayabang' ang dating. Paano ba to," she said.
