Jayda Avanzado releases new music, stars in 'Project Loki' adaptation
MANILA, Philippines — Jayda Avanzado, or simply Jayda, is on a roll with announcements of an upcoming series and a new music release.
Jayda, the daughter of singers Jessa Zaragoza and Dingdong Avanzado, has been making her own path in showbiz.
Last week, she was revealed as one of the lead casts of "Project Loki," the series adaptation of the Wattpad mystery crime thriller novel of the same name. The series will also star Marco Gallo and Dylan Menor.
The showbiz offspring is also following in her famous parents' path with the release of her new music. Apart from acting, Jayda has also been releasing songs in the past.
The rising singer-songwriter just launched her latest single "Action."
The track is playful, dreamy, and just a little delusional because, as they say, these feelings often illustrate love, especially young love.
“It’s like scripting out your own rom-com. You’re cueing the perfect moments, calling the shots, and just letting the fantasy take over,” Jayda said.
With her latest music, Jayda steps outside of her comfort zone. Known for her soulful, heartfelt ballads, she takes on the challenge of exploring a pop track.
This release also arrives at a milestone moment for Jayda. In collaboration with Universal Music Group (UMG) Philippines, she recently entered a publishing and recording deal with Viva Records, and a co-management contract with Viva Artists Agency (VAA).
