'Madudu': Madonna blows out Labubu cake for 67th birthday

MANILA, Philippines — Pop singer Madonna celebrated her 67th birthday in Italy with a pink Labubu-themed cake.
The Grammy winner posted on her Instagram account a birthday video, set to Tony Dallara's "Come Prima," where she detailed one of her dreams was to watch Italy's famous Palio di Siena.
The urban bareback horse race takes place annually on two dates, the latter on August 16, which is Madonna's exact birthdate.
"There are no words to describe. The excitement, the suspense and the pageantry!! A truly sacred ritual to witness thousands of people hushed to a silence before the race begins! The race itself is impossible to describe. Grazie Mille!" Madonna wrote in her caption.
In the video, Madonna is seen celebrating her birthday with her 29-year-old boyfriend Akeem Morris, a football player, daughters Lourdes and Mercy, and several other colleagues.
The "Like A Virgin" singer was surprised with a birthday cake that had a large pink Labubu design and frosting that read "Happy birthday, Madudu."
Among those who greeted Madonna in the comments section include Katy Perry, Rita Wilson, and Andy Cohen.
Other international stars that have rode the wave of the popular goblin figures include Lady Gaga and Lisa of Blackpink.
