Bea Borres' ex admits to being the father of expected daughter

CEBU, Philippines — Social media influencer Bea Borres' ex-boyfriend Meray Yamada revealed that he is the father of her upcoming baby.
In a now deleted comment on TikTok, Meray — the sales vice-president of iShip Logipack Incorporated founded by his parents — said that he will support his baby with Bea.
"Things may not have worked between Bea and I, but I never said I didn’t want to be there for our baby," Meray said. "I may not have handled our situation the best as of late, but walking away has never been an option for me."
"I'm here. And I'm going to do whatever it takes to be the best father I can be," he added.

Bea, in her vlog, shared that she would reveal the gender of her baby soon but Meray preempted the announcement by using "daughter" in his comment.
"My daughter deserves nothing but the best and I will work everyday to give her the life, love, and support she deserves. I will do better," Meray continued. "For as long as I am accepted into our child's life, ready or not, I will answer the call with my whole heart."
Bea announced she was expecting her first child last Tuesday, August 12, admitting she didn't think she'd become a mother but was excited nonetheless.
"I promise you and to everyone that gets to watch this in the future that I'd really really be the best mom. It's true that I’m not ready, but I don't think anyone or anything prepares you for motherhood," the 22-year-old content creator said then.
