Heart Evangelista on Pia Wurtzbach: 'She is not my problem'
MANILA, Philippines — Socialite-artist Heart Evangelista reiterated she has no issue with Miss Universe 2015 and fellow fashion icon Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey.
It can be recalled that Heart and Pia were the subjects of an alleged feud after Heart's former glam team began working for Pia, who later began attending more fashion events.
Heart said in October last year that she "never had a problem" with Pia, "In fact, I was one of those who cheered for her in the past. And I like to think that it was the same for her."
She added later at the time that it was the people around Pia making things problematic.
The supposed issue between Heart and Pia was brought up again during the recording of GCash Spotlight's second episode last August 12 by host Boy Abunda.
Heart began by pointing out that many people get invites to fashion weeks, her and Pia among them — as was the case at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week 2025 last month.
"I went through hell in the past with certain people. You don't just do certain things. There's called professionalism, and I'm a professional. I work hard for what I have," Heart continued.

"All is fair in love and war, I get that. But there are some things I feel that, you know, 'Okay naman tayo eh, wala namang ganun.' But again, you have to go on with your life."
The socialite-artist said she does not question what happened in the past, that even bad things that took place turned out be blessings, meaning they had to happen.
"There's some things that you have to get your heart ripped out, it has to happen because things need to permanently change. Because you have to get to the next chapter of your life," Heart said.
This kind of progress would not happen if one still has certain people around them, which is why Heart is grateful for the bad experiences, even if it meant being a casualty in some situations.
Heart said she would appreciate it if people stopped pointing the cameras at her and Pia regarding their so-called feud.
"I feel like it would be nice in any setting with anyone, not necessarily certain identities," Heart ended. "I feel like in any setting, especially when you have the media always in front of you, I feel like it would be more real if there weren't any cameras to capture any moment. I think I'd appreciate that even more."
