MOA Arena unveils bigger, brighter jumbotron 'The Cube'
MANILA, Philippines — The Mall of Asia Arena (MOA) has installed a brand new centerhung, an upgrade on the original jumbotron that hung at the venue since 2012.
The installation of the "The Cube," worth over P2 million, comes as the MOA Arena marks its 13th year of operations.
Sign manufacturing company Daktronics supplied and manufactured the new 1,152 kilogram jumbotron having previously provided the original centerhung.
The company is responsible for scoreboards found in popular American venues like Madison Square Garden and Crypto.com Arena.

"The Cube" is bigger than the first centerhung, going from a 138 square-meter total active area to 176, and a 672x1344 main light-emitting diode (LED) display.
A high-resolution display and two LED rings — top 30 square meters with 168x5548 pixels, bottom 18 square meters with 168x3024 pixels — make for a 117% improvement on the original.
The display is capable of showing multiple frames and text, split-screen, video replays, game statistics, and live fan cams, ensuring a fun experience no matter what event is being held.
Representatives for Daktronics told Philstar.com the new centerhung is expected to last at least a decade with regular maintenance and software updates.
