Mel Tiangco reacts to Iya Villania's 5th pregnancy
MANILA, Philippines — News anchor Mel Tiangco has a funny reaction to Iya Villania's fifth pregnancy.
During last night's newscast of "24 Oras," anchors Pia Arcangel, Emil Sumangil and Mel welcomed back Iya after her two-day leave.
The anchors congratulated Iya in the closing spiel of the program. The "Chika Minute" host had announced earlier that day that she was expecting another baby with husband host Drew Arellano.
"Uy, welcome back from your two-day vacation. Ha? Tapos may baby nang dala at pang-lima? Ano ba 'yun, Drew? Ngayon lang ako nakarinig ng ganiyan, ha?" Mel told Iya.
"'Wag mo na akong pagalitan, Tita," Iya answered.
"Ay naku! Pero last na talaga. Last na talaga!" she added.
Pia, however, reminded Iya to "Never say never."
"Delete, delete 'yan. Congratulations. I'm so happy for you," Mel said.
"We're a growing family," Iya said.
"Growing and growing and growing and growing!" Mel replied.
Yesterday, Iya posted a video of her family dancing along to Lou Bega's "Mambo No. 5."
Iya and Drew's kids appeared one by one, starting with Primo counting number 1, Leon at 2, Alana at 3 and Astro at 4.
When the song reached the lyrics that counted to the fifth number, a photo of an ultrasound image appeared.
