Ne-Yo heading back to Manila for ‘Champagne and Roses’ tour

Three-time Grammy-winning artist Ne-Yo is set to return to Philippines for his “Champagne and Roses” tour on Oct. 8.

After more than a year, Filipino fans have the chance to catch the R&B singer-songwriter perform his greatest hits and latest tracks at the Araneta Coliseum, coincidentally the same venue of his back-to-back concert held last Jan. 23, 2023.

The historic “Ne-Yo: Live In Concert” is a first for the country’s concert scene as the Because of You singer performed twice on the day of his concert.

This came after tickets got immediately sold out, prompting concert promoter Wilbros Live to add another timeslot “due to demand.”

The added timeslot had a three-hour gap from the original schedule at 9 p.m., which garnered mixed reactions from fans.

Despite this, the American singer-songwriter successfully gave a night to remember to his Filo supporters with a bonus reunion with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray during the second show.

The beauty queen became one of the lucky fans to score a moment with the “Miss Independent” hitmaker as she recreated her iconic “lava walk” after reminding him of their encounter during his Miss Universe stint in Bangkok, Thailand.

Fans anticipate Ne-Yo to perform his greatest hits Because of You, So Sick, Miss Independent, Closer, Sexy Love, Mad, Let Me Love You, Let’s Go, Time Of Our Lives, Play Hard, and Give me Everything.

Concert promoter Wilbros Live announced that tickets go on sale via TicketNet website and outlets nationwide starting July 6, at 12 p.m.

They revealed the ticket prices shortly after making the announcement on June 25: General admission (P1,200), upper box (P2,500), lower box B (P3,500), lower box A (P4,500), patron B (P7,000), patron A (P8,000), VIP (P9,000), and VVIP (12,000).
