A sparkling look at the GMA Gala awardees
The countdown begins! Once again, it will be a night of elegance and glamour in July as some of the brightest stars gather for the biggest and most sparkling event of the Philippine entertainment industry — the GMA Gala.
After two successful years, the GMA Gala continues to honor the dedicated team behind the glamorous looks of the artists, and annually celebrates the best-dressed and the most sparkling attendees.
Wearing ethereal gowns and elegant suits, the stars walked the red carpet with glitz, glamor, and glitter. As anticipation builds for this year’s special awards, let’s reminisce about who stood out and dazzled in previous years.
In 2022, Kapuso global fashion icon Heart Evangelista took home the Glamorous Star of the Night award, while Bianca Umali received two awards: Beautederm Scene Stealer Award and Belo Beauty of the Night.
Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera were named Couple of the Night. Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi, on the other hand, were hailed as Sparkle Love Team of the Night.
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards won Sparkle Star of the Night in the male category, while First Lady of Primetime Sanya Lopez took home the same award in the female category.
Miguel Tanfelix and Sofia Pablo were the TikTok Crowd Favorites in male and female categories, respectively. Marco Gumabao received the Frontrow Male Icon award, and Rhian Ramos was the female counterpart of the same award.
The second edition of the GMA Gala, with the theme “Elegant Formal,” continued to sparkle. Dingdong and Marian were again named Couple of the Night, joined by Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque.
Rayver Cruz and Julie Anne San Jose took home the award for Sparkle Love Team of the Night, while Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali were recognized as Young Stars of the Night (Male and Female).
Alden was once again hailed Sparkle Star of the Night in the male category, while Heart was honored as Sparkle Star of the Night in the female category.
David Licauco and Herlene Budol were chosen as TikTok Crowd Favorites of the Night.
Other special awardees included Barbie Forteza as Avignon Radiant Beauty of The Night, Gabbi Garcia as LazBeauty Look of the Night, Jillian Ward as Premier Star of the Night and The Sparkling Smile of the Night, Anne Curtis as Frontrow Luxxe Royalty, Kyline Alcantara as Luxxe White Face of the Night, and Andrea Torres as the winner of the Discover Your Travel Sparkle with PAL photo contest.
While all the attendees looked incredibly impressive at the GMA Gala, these artists just shone the brightest with their unique looks.
