MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actor Kelvin Miranda finally broke his silence regarding his breakup with Roselle Vytiaco.

It can be recalled that Roselle pointed at Kapamilya actress Kira Balinger as the alleged third party that caused her breakup with Kelvin.

During the press conference of his upcoming movie "Chances Are You and I" alongside Kira, Kelvin said that he never courted the young star.

According to Kelvin, he's dedicated to his work and admiited that he was confused with his feelings with Kira while shooting the film.

“Yes, confused ako sa reality, kung totoo ba lahat ng nararamdaman ko or is it just because of my character.

Kira, however, said that it's not impossible to fall in love with someone you work with especially if they're doing a romantic film.

“With Kelvin’s personality and his character and, you know, the nature of our work, beautiful love story, (and) nangyari, it just happens. Something happened and before we even know it," Kira said.

“Pero we didn’t let that affect the quality of our work. We didn’t let that affect our working relationship, so I think that’s what really matters,” she added.

"Chances Are You and I" was chosen as one of the Spotlight Entries this May 25 to 26 at the Jinseo Arigato Film Festival in Japan.

Produced by Pocket Media Productions Inc. with Happy Infinite Prioductions and distributed by Regal Entertainment Inc, the film will open in local cinemas nationwide on May 29.

The film is directed by Catherine Camarillo.
