Rhian Ramos back home after sleeping in Dubai airport floor for 2 days

MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos is finally home after getting stranded in Dubai airport due to heavy flooding.

In her X account, Rhian reposted a photo showing her with her friend Michelle Dee as support for Autism Society PH's Walk For Autism 2024 in SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.

Last April 19, Rhian posted on her X account that she was stranded in Dubai International Airport.

"Is there anyone from Emirates in Dubai that can help us? We need to rebook please," she wrote.

In her Instagram Stories, Rhian shared her photos while stranded in the airport, including her blankets on the floor, a bruised ankle, and long lines of fellow stranded passengers.

After finally getting a flight home, Rhian tweeted, "Hallelujah thank you Lord!!!"

The airport canceled over 1,500 flights following flooding caused by rains reported to be the heaviest in the United Arab Emirates for the last 75 years, which left several people dead, including three overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
