Jake Ejercito reacts to netizen's comment on his alleged silence during Andi Eigenmann-Albie Casiño issue

MANILA, Philippines — Jake Ejercito responded to an online user's comment about him being mum at the height of the issue between his ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann and actor Albie Casiño. 

In a now-expired Facebook story, Jake posted a screenshot of a news story that he reposted about him poking fun at a sample question during a civil service exam masterclass. 

The actor posted a basic preposition question that asked: "Jake is (at, in, on) home today." 

Many online users gamely provided their answers to the question, but one online user had a different comment. 

"Jake **WAS** silent during the times when Albie Casiño was being assaulted for allegedly impregnating Andi Eigenman (sic)," the user wrote, tagging the actor. 

This did not escape the actor's attention. He replied and tagged the online user back. 

"Ivan **IS** a clout chaser who comments without knowing the facts and the whole story. He can't even spell names right," Jake wrote. 

On his Facebook story, Jake posted their interaction and added a text overlay that tagged the online user and suggested that the latter might need to do a Visita Iglesia, a Catholic practice where the faithful visit at least seven churches to pray. 

In 2011, the then rising star Andi was confirmed to be pregnant. Her mother, the late Jaclyn Jose, confirmed her pregnancy but did not disclose the father's identity. 

At the same time, Albie was also a rising star at 18. He was paired with Kathryn Bernardo in the 2010 remake of the 1992 drama with the same name "Mara Clara." 

Andi and Albie used to date each other. 

The issue between the two young actors was much-talked about with talks of DNA testing to prove the unborn child's paternity. 

In a blog in September 2011, Andi named Albie as the father of her child. In November of the same year, she gave birth to a daughter she named Adrianna Gabrielle, who is now popularly known as Ellie.

In May 2012, Andi and Albie saw each other in a bar in Makati. She confronted her ex but she denied being involved in the beating of Albie. 

In 2016, Jake admitted that he was the father of Ellie, who was then already five years old, after a DNA test the year before.
