Jake Ejercito, Ellie pay tribute to Jaclyn Jose

MANILA, Philippines — Celebrity father and daughter Jake Ejercito and Ellie paid tribute to Jaclyn Jose who passed away recently. 

In his official Facebook page, Jake posted a throwback photo of his daughter Ellie with her grandmother Jaclyn. 

He only captioned it with a broken heart emoji. 

For her part, Ellie posted throwback photos of her and Jaclyn in her Instagram story. 

Jake's ex-girlfriend, Ellie's mom and Jaclyn's daughter Andi Eigenmann revealed that the veteran actress suffered a heart attack. 

"I announce the untimely passing of my nanay Mary Jane Guck, better known as Jaclyn Jose at the age of 60 on the morning of March 2nd, 2024 due to myocardial infarction or a heart attack," Andi announced in a press conference yesterday.  

"We'd like to thank everyone who has since extended their prayers and condolences to us as our family is trying to come to terms with this unfortunate incident," she added.  

Andi asked for privacy on their trying times.

"Please provide us the respect and privacy to grieve and we hope this put all speculations to rest," she said.  

"Her undeniable legacy will forever live on though her work, through her children and the many lives she touched as she herself, her life herself, was her greatest obra maestra. Thank you," she added.
