'Malaki ang respeto ko sa kanila': Maricel Soriano wants to work with Nora Aunor, Vilma Santos, Sharon Cuneta
MANILA, Philippines — Diamond Star Maricel Soriano wants to have a project with Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos and Superstar Nora Aunor.
Maricel was asked during her press conference yesterday who she wanted to work with, and she answered the four “stars.”
“Silang lahat kasi malaki ang respeto ko sa kanila. Nire-respeto ko si Ate Guy at Ate Vi, siyempre nire-respeto ko din si Shawie. Wala naman akong masamang record,” she said.
Apart from their showbiz "titles," Maricel and the aforementioned actresses also have nicknames. Maricel is also called Marya while her contemporary, Sharon, is fondly called Shawie. Nora, who is a National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts, is also known as Ate Guy, while former Batangas governor Vilma is called Ate Vi by her fans.
When asked who she wanted to work with among the young male stars, Maricel said she wants to work with actors who were handsome and talented.
“Gusto kong makatrabaho si Enchong Dee tapos si Daniel Padilla. Gusto ko din makatrabaho, tsaka si Joshua Garcia, magaling siya ha,” she said.
Maricel joins the cast of the ABS-CBN afternoon teleserye “Pira-pirasong Paraiso.”
She joins the talented roster of actors led by Sunshine Dizon, Ronnie Alonte, KD Estrada, Joseph Marco, Elisse Joson, Alexa Ilacad, Charlie Dizon and Loisa Andalio.
Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, the series is the first teleserye collaboration between ABS-CBN and TV5.
