Is Shayne Sava ready to accept daring roles?
With a beautiful face, well-toned physique and all the curves in the right places, Shayne Sava can really look gorgeous and wear her sexiness for film roles.
The Sparkle GMA artist appreciates positive comments on her physicality, but she is not seeing herself going sexy for a character yet, especially now that she is enjoying the challenges of taking on roles that bring out her flair for dramatic acting.
“I don’t think I’m ready to venture out in that kind of role now. I am happy with the characters that I get to portray. Nag-e-enjoy po ako sa mga ganun (drama scenes),” said Shayne to select members of the entertainment press, including The STAR, during the grand opening of Queen’s Wellness and Beauty Center in Kanlaon St., Brgy. Lourdes, Quezon City. “Siguro po in the next few years. Ayoko rin pong magsalita ng tapos,” she added.
Her manager, Gino Medina, believes Shayne can breathe life into any characters regardless of genre “because if you notice most dramatic stars, well, you can’t be known as a total (versatile) actor if you don’t try them all (different roles).”
After her big win in the seventh season of GMA reality artista search StarStruck, Shayne has begun to prove her acting mettle that makes an impact to televiewers starting from her portrayal as Jamilah in Legal Wives.
At present, she plays the dutiful, loving daughter Abigail in the Kapuso drama series, Raising Mamay.
Shayne said that she will continue to work hard now that she has become part of the entertainment scene.
“Grabe po talaga ‘pag naiisip ko na dati lang nasa competition ako, but here I am now. Unti-unti ko na pong naaabot ‘yung mga pangarap ko. It’s been an awesome ride, sobrang saya, sobrang grateful ako sa lahat ng blessings na natatanggap ko,” shared Shane, who is the other half of the loveteam AbDayne with fellow StarStruck alum Abdul Raman.
In fact, she received another blessing in the form of becoming the ambassadress of Queen’s Wellness and Beauty Center.
“I saw in Shayne her beauty inside and out. We all know how she started as an actress, she’s very determined to succeed and she will do her best as you can see in her acting in Raising Mamay. All her qualities resonate with our goal of giving the best service to our clients,” said Queen’s CEO Mary Grace Juliano, who is also the supplier of stem cells and other beauty products in the country. All their products come from Korea and Germany.
Shayne said she visits the wellness center once or twice a week for some pampering like facial treatment, facial contouring, and Instant Barbie Arms, a combination of mesolipo to target stubborn arm fats and botox to target bulky arm muscle making the arms slender. Also available in Queen’s are such services as Nail Glamour, laser hair removal, whitening drip, Botox and more.
According to Mary Grace, all treatments being done in the wellness center are safe and with dermatologists available for consultations.
Apart from getting treatments in Queen’s, Shayne also tries to squeeze in her daily activities some routine exercises and “of course, proper diet,” she stressed.
Asked if she, too, has a happy love life, Shayne smiled and said, “Takot ako sa tanong (laughs).”
She knew that everyone was pertaining to her screen partner Abdul and so, Shayne disclosed, “Is he courting me? He does not say anything directly to me, so I’m not sure.”
However, her manager Gino revealed that the Kapuso actor recently gifted Shayne a pair of shoes worth P30,000, but the 20-year-old actress just smiled and declared that they are happy being together.
“I still believe in courtship and dating in order for me to know the guy more. Maganda rin yung makilala muna nila Mama before getting into a relationship,” she said. Inquired about her ideal man, Shayne answered that she prefers a guy who is understanding and faithful, adding, “Alam naman natin ngayon maraming cases ng cheating kaya medyo mahirap, hahahaha.”
