Ex-Kapamilya broadcaster Jay Sonza criticizes ABS-CBN shows' airing on cable TV
MANILA, Philippines — Former Kapamilya broadcaster Jay Sonza criticized the airing of ABS-CBN shows on cable TV.
In his Facebook account, Sonza said ABS-CBN continued to "fool" Filipinos by saying that they are back on air.
They are merely content provider of their own illegal cable and telecoms business. They will now offer it free to local cable providers to entice them and later charge these providers for subscription,” Sonza wrote.

Sonza claimed that the Kapamilya network will eventually give up after three months because they cannot earn back what they have been spending now.
In another post, Sonza compared the network to a once mighty bird that is now begging to broadcast in local cable channels.
“Kapamilya network. dating dambuhalang ibon ng brodkasting, kalapati na lang na 'NAKIKIPALABAS' sa mga local cable Channel,” he said.

Sonza also made various claims about the Lopezes' ownership of the network tackled in House hearings this week.
Internet users gave mixed reactions to Sonza's claims.
"Whatever d reason ndi nla kya pantayan ang abs d lng nila maamin yun.bsta aq kapamilya," said one comment.
I love abs cbn than the president!" cried another.
In a statement released to Philstar.com, ABS-CBN said the cable and satellite TV channels that carry its new Kapamilya Channel are SKY, Cablelink, G Sat and most member-cable operators on Philippine Cable Television Association nationwide that are owned and operated by other companies and are not covered by the cease and desist order issued by the National Telecommunications Commission to ABS-CBN.
