Ready for JamesKiss?

FUNFARE - Ricky Lo - The Philippine Star
Ready for JamesKiss?
Kisses Delavin and Jameson Blake during her 2017 debut in which Jameson was one of the 18 guys who offered her roses.

DonKiss is gone for good and no amount of tears or pressure from the tandem’s fans can revive it…unless the United Nations intervenes and brings it back. (Oops! That’s a joke!!!)

Kisses Delavin and Donny Pangilinan have aired their sides, generating mixed reactions (some of them fuming) from their fans but most of them in defense of Kisses.

That’s the sad/bad news.

The happy/good news is that, while Donny has yet to find a new screen partner, Kisses has already found one. Actually, Regal Films did it for her. A Funfare source said that the company conducted a poll on who is the perfect partner for Kisses in the movie D’Ninang and the winner is…Jameson Blake. If and when, would the tandem be known as JamesKiss?

When Kisses celebrated her debut en grande in May 2017, her manager surprised her by choosing 18 handsome guys to present the 18 Roses, James among them.

“That’s how I met him,” said Kisses, “but I don’t know him personally.”

Oh well, they will have enough time to know each other better when their first movie together starts shooting.

Kisses was asking, “What do you think about the team-up?”

Honestly, yes, Jameson and Kisses will make a handsome pair.

Rosang Agimat (temporarily?) shelved

Gabbi Garcia and Jeric Gonzales, the stars of the tragic GMA TV series Rosang Agimat.

Confirmed: The GMA TV series Rosang Agimat has been shelved.

The series was only into its first few days of shoot when tragedy struck. It will forever be known as the “last unfinished” project of Eddie Garcia who was mortally hurt on the Tondo set.

“Rosang Agimat was only a working title,” GMA SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable told The STAR in a text message. It will not be pushed through in the meantime. In short, it is postponed.”

Toto Natividad, director of the abortive series, may not be tapped to handle Rosang Agimat’s replacement. (Natividad has been intriguingly quiet, not making any comment about what happened to Eddie whom he directed in the Kapamilya TV series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.)

“The genre of a new series may be different,” clarified Lilybeth.

Rosang Agimat would have been the biggest break for Gabbi Garcia (in the titular role) and Jeric Gonzales who have undergone intensive training for it. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. For sure, something better is waiting for them.
