Robin Padilla gushes over Kylie, Aljur’s pre-nup shoot
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor Robin Padilla cannot hide his excitement on the upcoming wedding of his daughter Kylie Padilla to Aljur Abrenica.
On his Instagram account, the “Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema” reposted a photo of his daughter wherein she thanked the team behind her and Aljur’s pre-nuptial photos.
“Alhamdulillah Praise God napakaganda ng aking umaga dahil sa post na ito @kylienicolepadilla. Nasa iyo anak ko ang malalim kong paggalang at paghanga,” Robin wrote.
“Saludo ako sa pag ibig at pagsuko mo sa magiging asawa mo. Masyado na akong nasasabik sa araw na aking pinakahihintay. Maraming salamat sa iyo o aming Nag iisang Dios na lumikha AMEEN!” he added.
In an interview with Philstar.com with the veteran actor last June, Robin said he is happy for Kylie and Aljur.
“Pero siyempre ako’y masaya dahil ‘yun lang naman ang kaligayahan ng lahat ng ama na makitang pinakasalan ang kanyang anak at lumalakad sa altar. Kung saan man ‘yan, tubig man yan, basta lumakad siya,” he said.
Kylie has been posting photos of her with Aljur on Instagram. Netizens were quick to comment that those photos are their pre-nuptial shots.
Although Kylie confirmed that they are now shooting their pre-nuptial photos, it was unclear if the photos posted recently on her Instagram account were included in the pre-nup shots.
In an interview with the media, including Philstar.com, during the recently held ABS-CBN Ball, Aljur said he is grateful that they have Kylie’s mom, Liezl, in their home to guide them and take care of Alas when they are not around.
“Napagusapan namin ni Kylie na kung pu-pwede magbigay siya ng panahon sa amin kasi taon na hindi niya nakasama si Kylie at ang apo niya. Parang one-year-old na noong nakasama niya,” he said.
“Ngayon nandoon siya sa bahay and I’m grateful na ginagabayan kami, pinagluluto kami. Nabigyan pa kami ng oras ni Kylie katulad ngayon kasi may mapagkakatiwalaan kaming pagiiwanan kay Alas,” he added.
The celebrity couple walked on the red carpet together in the recent celebrity ball even though the actress is from the rival network.
Nonetheless, Aljur said that GMA-7 approved Kylie’s appearance in the ball.
“Yes, nagpaalam. Last minute lang siya pinayagan,” he said.
“Biglaan kasi. Kasi hindi naman talaga siya pupunta, so last minute siya naghanap ng gown pero keri pa rin.”
