‘Ready Player One’ star reveals childhood dream

MANILA, Philippines — Hollywood actor Tye Sheridan last week shared his childhood dreams to his Filipino fans.

Asked for his hobby before he became an actor, Sheridan, who played the roles of Cyclops in the 2016 film “X-Men Apocalypse” and Wade Watts in 2018 film “Ready Player One,” said he is into writing.

“When I was a kid, I’ve always been interested in storytelling,” Sheridan said at the recently concluded AsiaPOP Comicon Manila 2018.

“I always thought that I’d become a novelist or some kind of writer before I got into film. And then this kind of took off so here we are,” he added.

Sheridan said he sees himself doing things along the line of writing which he might try later on.
