WATCH: Drew Barrymore says going to Manila ‘feels like a dream’
MANILA, Philippines — Hollywood star Drew Barrymore’s memories of her second Manila visit will stay with her forever, she said during the red carpet premiere of her Netflix show “Santa Clarita Diet” in Manila on Monday night.
“There are no words in a moment like this,” a teary-eyed Drew told her Filipino fans.
“This is not real life when you wake up every day and try to take care of your kids in sweatpants. And all of a sudden, this crazy dream happen,” the star of romantic comedies “Ever After” and “50 First Dates” said.
“It’s surreal and it’s beautiful and it’s overwhelming, and I know that a moment like this will stay with me forever, ‘cause it is a dream to be here.”
