The JaDine Revolution goes on tour

Fans of James Reid and Nadine Lustre turned up en masse last February 9 for the duo’s concert

JaDine Revolution Love Rules rocked the Araneta Coliseum to the rafters last Friday, Feb. 9. The sold-out concert was the first by the famous James Reid and Nadine Lustre duo in Manila in two years. The fans turned up en masse and it was a super duper success that proved to all that the love team, both real and reel, does command a large, loyal following.

Now that all those satisfied ticket holders are busy enjoying their memories of the fun-filled evening, JaDine is taking their show on the road. The first stop of the tour is the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga, where Revolution Love Rules will be live on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 8 in the evening.

Next on schedule is the University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao City, Davao on April 29. Then, this will be followed by the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu, Mactan, Cebu on May 19. Do keep watch for more dates later this year in the Philippines and abroad that will be announced soon.

Aside from the tour, James and Nadine are also busy winding up work on their first big screen team-up in three years, Never Not Love You, that was partly filmed in London. James is also in the cast of the big-budgeted musical comedy Miss Granny with Sarah Geronimo, where he plays the leader of a rock band.

Speaking of music, Palm Dreams, James’ album release of dance tunes, is a huge seller with the big hits Cool Down and IL2LU. Nadine, who is set to star in her own solo flick soon, has also dropped a new single titled St4y Up that will be part of her upcoming album from Viva Records.

Now, may I present the latest show calendar for the upcoming months in the Metro Manila area. And brace up for lots of evenings out as this year promises to be one of the most star-studded ever in concert row. The selection is fantastic and recent news have hot acts LANY and ZEDD joining the line-up.

Feb. 17, Incubus at the Smart Araneta Coliseum of the big hits Wish You Were Here, Megalomaniac, Anna Molly, Drive, Pardon Me, Are You In? and Nice To Know You.

Feb. 24 and 25, the legendary Philippine Madrigal Singers in their 51st anniversary concert, 5 In 1, at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo, the Main Theater of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

March 6, Fifth Harmony at the Kia Theater. No more Camila Cabello in the group but you can still look forward to watching them perform their hits like Sledgehammer, Worth It, BO$$, Work From Home and Down.

March 21, John Legend in the Darkness and Light World Tour at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Hear Under The Stars, Ordinary People and that biggie of them all, All Of Me.

April 2, Katy Perry in The Witness The Sun Tour at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena. Katy will surely do Chained To The Rhythm, Bon Appetit and Swish Swish from the Witness album.

April 5, LANY Live in Manila at the Araneta Coliseum. The alternative pop band is famous for 13 and Super Far. Just in case you are wondering, LANY stands for Los Angeles New York, where the three members come from.

April 8, Ed Sheeran’s ÷Divide Tour at the MOA concert grounds. You already know what to expect from this one. Shape of You, Castle On The Hill, Perfect and maybe one or two of the early hits, Photograph, Thinking Out Loud.

April 13, ZEDD in the Echo Tour 2018 at the Araneta Coliseum. This is big news for EDM fans who will love grooving to the sounds of superstar DJ ZEDD.

April 14, The Script at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Freedom Child tour. Hits by the Irish alternative rock band are The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, Breakdown and their latest Rain.

May 1, Harry Styles at the Mall of Asia Arena. The former One Direction cutie is all set to strut his stuff from his first solo album. Sign of the Times should be great.

May 3 and 4, Bruno Mars at the MOA Arena in one of the most awaited visits ever. Bruno will rock it with That’s What I Want, Versace On The Floor and other hits.

July 19 and 20, Celine Dion Live 2018 tour at the MOA Arena. The first day sold out fast and aren’t all those Celine fans around glad that a second date was recently announced. Nobody wants to miss watching her perform My Heart Will Go On live.
