Watch the official teaser trailer of ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’

MANILA, Philippines — Disney and Lucasfilm have released the first “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” trailer for writer/director Rian Johnson‘s follow-up to “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

The trailer was unveiled as part of the recent Star Wars Celebration panel for the film, along with a teaser poster.

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.

The film stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran, Benicio del Toro, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill.

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will be shown in Philippine cinemas starting Dec. 15, 2017. It is distributed in the Philippines by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
