Two new shows on GMA
Louise delos Reyes and Juancho Triviño topbill the upcoming family drama series Magkaibang Mundo, which will air starting in May on GMA’s Afternoon Prime block and worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV.
Magkaibang Mundo tells the Cinderella-like story of Pepay, who lives in an unfortunate state of neglect because of her wicked aunt and step-cousins, and how Elfino, her elf friend and their friendship will change everything.
Louise is Pepay, the child of a successful shoe businessman and shoe designer. She’s a grateful daughter, who is loving towards elders, willing to suffer and industrious. She would rather think of other people before herself. Her life akin to that of a Princess will come to an end with the death of her father.
Juancho, on the other hand, is Elfino, an elf who falls in love with Pepay.
The series also stars Gina Alajar, Rez Cortez, Assunta de Rossi, Maricar de Mesa, James Teng, Liezel Lopez, Marika Sasaki and Balang. It is under the direction of Mark Sicat dela Cruz.

Kylie portrays the role of Amihan, the keeper of the Jewel of Air. Meanwhile, Alena, the keeper of the Jewel of Water, is portrayed by Gabbi.
Sanya plays Danaya, the keeper of the Jewel of Earth, and Glaiza is Pirena, the eldest among the Sang’gres and the keeper of the Jewel of Fire.
Joining them are Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera-Dantes as Raquim and Ynang Reyna.
The rest of the cast are:
The Lirean: Solenn Heussaff as Cassiopea, Pancho Magno as Hitano, Carlo Gonzalez as Muros, Kate Valdez as Mira, Mikee Quintos as Lira and Rocco Nacino as Aquil.
Hathor: Rochelle Pangilinan as Agane, Vaness del Moral as Gurna and John Arcilla as Hagorn.

The series will also introduce StarStruck winners Klea Pineda as Muyak and Migo Adecer as Anthony.
Director Mark Reyes said they can only promise one thing. “We will do our best to make this even better than the first one. That’s all we can promise. We took a lot of pains in doing this. You will see how special this is. As far as story-cons go, you can expect bigger and more exciting things from Encantadia.”
