Ronnie marks birthday with cancer-stricken kids

MANILA, Philippines – Ronnie Liang’s birthday was on Jan. 31, the last day of Bituing Walang Ningning the Musical at the Resorts World Manila in which he was one of the lead performers. Sharon Cuneta (below), the original Dorina Pineda in the story, was among the guests in the audience. As usual for nine years now, Ronnie went to the Philippine Children Medical Center for his post-birthday celebration with the cancer-stricken kids. It’s his way of paying back for the blessings he has received in 2015 including his being cast in the Bituin musical for which he got an award for Best Actor in a Featured Role at the 28th Aliw Awards. His third album, Songs of Love, has turned gold.
