Because of You, produced by GMA Network, has captured the hearts of many Filipino viewers. According to AGB Nielsen, first week of the series got 19.2 percent household ratings compared to its competitor. And as of Jan. 19, the series was still on top.

Because of You, which started in November last year, is a light-hearted romantic series featuring the love triangle of Carla Abellana as Andrea, Rafael Rosell as Oliver and Gabby Concepcion as Jaime. This inspirational drama is about love, family and parenting — its joys and challenges.

Carla is excited over her latest project and the privilege of working with Gabby and Rafael, whom she finds professional and easy to work with.

“I’m really happy to work again with Gabby,” said Carla. “I am excited since I had worked with him briefly before and found him a very funny individual. I enjoyed the experience and learned more with him around. I’m also thrilled to be reunited with Bettinna Carlos and Tita Celia (Rodriguez).”

Gabby likewise reveals that he is very comfortable working with Carla and viewers will definitely enjoy watching their show since it is very light and full of good vibes.

“I worked with Carla before and I am so relaxed with her,” said Gabby. “As they say, it’s a walk in the park. I’ve worked with her before and I find her easy to work with. (Because of You) has a different approach and story. This is indeed a feel-good teleserye.”

Rafael, on the other hand, is very thankful for having received good projects and meaty roles. “I feel honored to be entrusted with this fulfilling project about true love. I couldn’t be more grateful. I’m so honored and even more inspired. I love it.”

Joining Carla, Rafael and Gabby in Because of You are Kuh Ledesma as Charina, Iya Villania as Rebecca, Valerie Concepcion as Veronica, Joyce Ching as Cheska, Bettinna as Patricia, Enzo Pineda as Sonny, Vaness del Moral as Alex, Michael Flores as Dennis, Rey “PJ” Abellana as Conrado, Carlo Gonzales as Henry, Eunice Lagusad as Iska, Oli Espino as Mando, Mosang as Malou, Julius Erasga as Michael, Sofia Pablo as Candy, Jacob Briz as Iñigo, Betong Sumaya as Albert and Celia Rodriguez as Feliza, with the special participation of Mickey Ferriols as Mildred.

Directing the series is Mark Reyes, who also directed Half Sisters, the longest-running Afternoon Prime series of GMA. Dode Cruz is the headwriter; creative direction is by Roy Iglesias, Jake Tordesillas and Des Garbes Severino.

The program is a creation of the drama group under the supervision of SVP for Entertainment TV Lilybeth Rasonable, VP for Drama Redgie Acuña-Magno, AVP for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, senior program manager Catherine Ochoa-Perez and executive producer Nieva Sabit.

The show only proves that the heart never ceases to love and never surrenders in finding its partner at the right moment.
