Luis and Angel split up

MANILA, Philippines - As you can see, there’s no question mark (?) in the title of this “breaking news” relayed to Funfare by an unimpeachable source.

“Yes,” said the source, “Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin have split up barely three weeks after they came back from a vacation in the States. It seems that while abroad they discovered ‘something’ about each other.”

No, there’s no third party.

If you watched Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) on ABS-CBN last Sunday night, you must have wondered why Angel, one of the judges, cried during the beautifully-choreographed performance of a couple.

“She looked sad,” said the source, “and she must have been regretting over something.”

Luis approached Angel, wiped her tears and told her, “I love you.” That made Angel smile.

Sad. It’s breaking-up time in showbiz.

Zanjoe Marudo has admitted that he and Bea Alonzo, his girlfriend of six years, have broken up. Bea is being linked to A Second Chance leading man John Lloyd Cruz who is mum on persistent rumors that he and Angelica Panganiban have also called it quits.

Luis’ mom, Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos (Angel’s co-star in Star Cinema’s Everything About Her which is opening nationwide today), is all praises for her (ex-future?)-daughter-in-law.

“She has yet to be informed about Luis and Angel’s break-up,” added the Funfare source.
