Shaira Mae going solo for good?
MANILA, Philippines - Shaira Mae is not going to work anytime soon with her perennial love team partner Mark Neumann. According to reports, Mark will be paired with fellow Kapatid star Eula Caballero in the new Wattpad series titled Wrong Number.
Although the news came as a surprise to her, Shaira is happy for Mark. To recall, both starred in various TV5 projects, from several Wattpad series to the recently-concluded Baker King.
“Actually, ikinagulat naming dalawa (ni Mark) kung bakit nangyari yun. I still have no idea why it happened because we haven’t met with the management yet regarding this, so medyo clueless pa po ako.”
But Shaira is certain that her home network is cooking up something better for them. “Yes, for sure naman yun. Alam naman po ng TV5 yung ginagawa nila and I trust them.” However, she cannot tell yet if her mother network will team her up with other actors.
Shaira is quite busy with other commitments herself. She is part of TV5’s Sunday noontime show Happy Truck ng Bayan along with Ogie Alcasid, Janno Gibbs, Gelli de Belen, Derek Ramsay and Jasmine Curtis Smith. Shaira has also recently starred in the Lola Basyang episode Ang Ilog ng Telebeng.
In the coming days, Shaira will be seen in Caronia’s latest TVC. The Kapatid star has been tapped as the brand’s newest ambassador. Shaira admits that it’s her very first endorsement and she couldn’t be any happier.
Caronia is the country’s go-to provider of vibrant, high-quality and affordable nail polish for all ages.
According to Rachel Enciso of Caronia, Shaira was chosen to be the face of the brand because she is the present-day embodiment of a Caronia girl — go-getter, bubbly and genuinely sweet.
“I’m so blessed and happy that I get to represent the brand,” says the 20 year old, who goes for Caronia’s vibrant red shades. “What I also love about it is that it’s a nice way to bond with friends and family while doing the nail polish.”
Meanwhile, Caronia will hold a contest featuring the dance that Shaira demonstrates in the promotional videos.
Those interested to join must create a unique KeepThingsColorful Dance Craze video for a chance to be in the brand’s next TVC and win P30,000 cash. The contest is open to groups of two to five members, 16 years old and above. Submission of entries is ongoing until Dec. 31. The announcement of winners is on Jan. 15, 2016. The TVC can also be viewed via Caronia Philippines’ YouTube and Facebook sites for more details.
