Gelli de Belen says move to ABS-CBN not yet final
MANILA, Philippines — Gelli de Belen said her transfer to ABS-CBN is not yet final.
“Basta abangan n’yo na lang. [In] 2016, next year, maybe there will be new things happening to me. But of course nothing is final yet,” she said in an interview in “Tonight with Boy Abunda” aired on Monday.
She’ll soon appear in “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” hosted by Luis Manzano.
Once her transfer to the network is done Gelli said she she looks forward to working again with her best friend, Carmina Villaroel, and her sister, Janice de Belen.
The three worked together in GMA’s defunct morning talk show “Sis.”
“That would be fun! That would be lovely!” she exclaimed. “Mayro’n kaming relasyon na kahit wala ang TV, wala ang camera, e, nando’n kami.”
For now, she’s busy promoting her short film “Tita Ko ang Nanay Ko” which is part of the Anak ng OFW Film Festival that will premier on December 3.
Given a chance to do a film with Star Cinema, Gelli hopes to star with actor Piolo Pascual. – Joyce Jimenez
