Fil-Hair going strong after 30 years

MANILA, Philippines - More than three decades ago, Ricky Reyes (fifth from left) founded the Filipino Hairdressers Association (Fil-Hair) with the purpose of uniting salon owners, hairstylists and cosmetologists under one umbrella organization.

Fil-Hair officers and members regularly hold activities that develop camaraderie, making the organization the oldest and foremost prime mover in the beauty industry.

With Ricky are Fil-Hair officers Edwin Palma, Ruby Villarama, Raquel Pangilagan, Lyn Yalong, Ester Garcia, Felipe de Guzman, Atlas Leonen, Josie Gallardo and Santiago Palomares.
