MANILA, Philippines — The question and answer portion is the most awaited part of any beauty pageant, and it's no different at the Miss World Philippines 2015.

"In understanding other people, we can become a better society," said Hillarie Parungao during the question and answer portion of the Miss World Philippines. She was later hailed as the new Miss World Philippines at the Solaire Resort and Casino in Paranaque City on Sunday night.

Emma Mary Tiglao (4th Princess)
Question: Pick a current global issue and suggest a practical issue.
Answer: A current gloabl issue? I think it's education. For me, for it's education. And for the solution, me standing in front of you, acting as a role model, I can be an inspiration to the youth so that they can be inspired to study more, to study hard so that in the end they will have a good future.
Maria Vanessa Wright (3rd Princess)
Question: If you're to become a lawmaker, what will be the first law you will want to pass and why?
Answer: The first law I would want to pass is free education for all up until high school. Because without education, we cannot progress as a nation, as a person and as a society. So if everyone is entitled to free education up until a respectable degree, that way we can have basic knowledge and progress.

Question: What is your life's philosophy and why?
Answer: My life philosophy always relies into compassion. I believe compassion can help, can open doors into many challenges in life that we can resolve, that we can progress as a society. And I also believe that in compassion we can understand other people. And in understanding other people, we can become a better society.
Marita Cassandra Naidas (1st Princess)
Question: What makes you proud to be a woman?
Answer: What makes me proud to be a woman is that I am able to express myself and be confident. And through this, I am able to inspire others to do the same so that they can be they can be the best versions of their selves without comparing themselves to other women.
Mia Allyson Howell (2nd Princess)
Question: What super power would you like to have and what is the first thing you would do once you get it?
Answer: I think I would like to have the ability to have people's minds because a lot of times people don't express what they need. And so, if I could read people's minds and not over abuse this power, I could the people the really need it and wouldn't want to say anything about needing help.
