Hillarie Danielle Parungao crowned Miss World Philippines 2015

MANILA, Philippines - Hillarie Danielle Parungao was crowned Miss World Philippines at the Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City on Sunday night.

The 24 from Nueva Vizcaya bested 25 other candidates for the crown.

Parungao also won special awards given out earlier in the program, including Best in Swimsuit, Best in Long Gown, Best in Runway and Best in Sports Challenge.

Completing the top five are:

1st Princess: Marita Cassandra Naidas
2nd Princess: Mia Allyson Howell
3rd Princess: Maria Vanessa Wright
4th Princess: Emma Mary Tiglao

Parungao succeeds Valerie Weigmann, who won the title last year, and will represent in the Philippines in the Miss World 2015 pageant to be held in China this December.
