Abby Asistio launches debut album

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Abby Asistio launches her debut self-titled studio album tonight at 7 at 12 Monkeys in Century City Mall, Makati.

The album contains eight original tracks, which Abby composed, including the feel good song Glad You’re Mine which was arranged by Jo Jam of Flip Music, the ballad Tagpuan which was arranged and produced by John Apura, and the inspirational Beautiful, which was arranged by Jay Durias of South Border. The album also has two bonus tracks — an acoustic version of the song When I’m With You and an instrumental version of Beautiful.

The singer-songwriter is an Alopecia awareness advocate who had the disease at four years old. She continuously inspires others by sharing her life’s testimony through writing and singing songs that give hope especially to people with Alopecia.

Abby was recently part of two international events where she represented the Philippines both as an artist and an advocate of Alopecia. She represented the country in Music Matters Live festival in Singapore where she performed and spoke about Alopecia; and she was also the closing speaker in the National Alopecia Areata Foundation annual conference in L.A., California where she delivered a powerful speech about her condition and touched the hearts of the delegates as she performed Beautiful.

Tonight, Abby dishes out live selected tracks from her album plus a sampling of standard classics and homegrown favorites.

Abby Asistio is distributed by Believe Digital and the tracks of the album are available for download on iTunes and Spotify. Follow Abby on Twitter and Instagram at @AbbyAsistio, like Abby Asistio Music on Facebook, and visit her official website www.abbyasistio.com.
