Taylor Swift now most followed personality on Instagram
MANILA, Philippines - Swifties rejoice!
With over 45.7 million followers on Instagram, Taylor Swift has dethroned Kim Kardashian as the most followed personality on the social media site.
The "Shake It Off" singer beat the A-list socialite by thousand followers, with the latter only having clocked up 45.6 million followers.
The added followers on the singer's list may have been caused by her recent photo post showing the flowers sent by Kim's husband Kanye West.
Swift and West had a rift back in September 2009 when the rapper interrupted Swift as she was about to take her award for Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
Obviously, the rift has been buried in the past, with West apologizing to Swift for the incident at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
Thanks to Yeezus' fans, the "Wildest Dreams" singer is now the new queen bee of Instagram.
