Joseph Marco takes a break from Cosmo bash

MANILA, Philippines – Joseph Marco will not take part in this year’s Cosmo Bachelor Bash.

The Kapamilya actor is one of the celebrities who garnered cheers from last year’s event goers.

“This year I’m gonna rest,” he said in an interview on Tuesday. “Last year ginawa ko na, e, so this year I’m gonna rest. I’ll focus muna sa show.”

Joseph is working on the ABS-CBN primetime series “Pasion de Amor,” where he’s paired with Coleen Garcia. To show support to his leading lady, Joseph attended the premiere night of Coleen's movie “Ex With Benefits,” which opens in theaters today.

“I’m very excited and happy. Sobrang nag-look forward ako dito sa movie niya kasi sabi niya ibang-iba na Coleen Garcia ang makikita dito,” he said about the Kapamilya actress’ film.

Joseph is also happy with the good feedback "Pasion de Amor" is getting from the viewers.

“Marami pang mangyayari,” he teased. “May mga bagong character na papasok tsaka magiging mas matindi ang takbo ng story.”

Former GMA-7 and TV5 actor Wendell Ramos recently joined the show as Gabriel, the son of Doña Gabriela played byTeresa Loyzaga.

“Pasion de Amor” also stars Ellen Adarna, Arci Muñoz, Ejay Falcon and Jake Cuenca. It airs Monday to Friday 5:45 p.m. on ABS-CBN.
