Pinay vies for Miss Universe-New Zealand title
MANILA, Philippines — A Pinay hailing from Bulacan is selected as one of the finalists for this year's Miss Universe-New Zealand pageant.
The finalists were announced by Nigel Godfrey, the executive director of the pageant through a video.

Gabrielle ‘Gaby’ Manaloto traces her parental roots from Meycauayan, Bulacan. Her Facebook profile says she is currently earning her degree at the University of Auckland Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
Meanwhile, Godfrey also mentioned on the video that the finalists of Miss Universe-New Zealand will be visiting the Philippines this September.
"We are of course going to take the top 20 off to the Philippines on retreat," he said.
Once in the Philippines, the finalists will have to pose for a bikini shoot and will also visit some of Philippines's historic spots. The coronation night will be held on October 24.
