Cherie Gil joins The Half Sisters

MANILA, Philippines - Cherie Gil (photo) is the latest addition to the cast of the hit GMA Afternoon Prime series, The Half Sisters.

In the program, Cherie plays the role of Magnolia Mcbride, the prodigal daughter of Elizabeth (Gloria Romero) who will return to claim what’s rightfully hers.

She is happy that GMA offered her the project and excited to bond with the entire cast led by Barbie Forteza and Thea Tolentino with Jean Garcia, Jomari Yllana, Ryan Eigenmann, Eula Valdes, Andre Paras, Vaness del Moral, Mel Martinez, Pancho Magno, Juancho Triviño, Jak Roberto and Winwyn Marquez. 

“I was delighted, of course, to return to GMA and reunite with familiar colleagues. Moreover, I look forward to working with (nephew) Ryan Eigenmann for the very first time and it is always an honor to play opposite the daughter of the Gloria Romero,” said Cherie.
