SIM’s top awardees honored

MANILA, Philippines - The Soroptimist International of Malabon (SIM) got top honors in the recently-concluded SI Philippines’ 25th Mid Biennial Conference (2014-2015) at the Orchid Garden Hotel in Zamboanga City. Led by its president, Malabon City Vice Mayor Jeannie Sandoval (center, in pink) who was chosen as the Most Outstanding Club President, SIM received the Governor’s Special Award for being one of the three Most Outstanding Clubs in the span of five years and Most Outstanding Club Award. Other awards bestowed to SIM include Best in Program; Best in Membership for 100% Retention, Highest Net Gain and Biggest Number of New Members; Celebrating Success Region Winner in four categories namely: Program, Membership, Fundraising and Public Awareness; Net Growth in Membership Award in recruiting the most number of new members; and Certificate of Recognition from SI of Americas for increase of members.
