Is Paul Soriano okay with Toni-Sam reunion project?

MANILA, Philippines – Paul Soriano doesn’t mind if his wife Toni Gonzaga would be working with Sam Milby.

“Well, I got to know Sam in the past eight years and she’s married so she definitely knows she’s off-limits. They’re on camera so let’s give that to them,” Paul replied when asked to react about Toni working with Sam, in an interview aired in ABS-CBN’s “Aquino and Abunda Tonight” on Friday.

Sam is Toni’s first onscreen partner and they’ve been linked with each other before.

They’ll be working again in the ABS-CBN upcoming TV series “Written in our Stars” together with Piolo Pascual and Jolina Magdangal.

Meanwhile, Toni talked about the separation anxiety she’s having when she moved in with Paul.

There are still times when her husband would remind her that it was their opinion as a couple that matters in the decisions they make. Yet she’s thankful that Paul understands what she’s going through.

“Mahirap kasi big part of my life, big part of me is family ko,” she explained. “So kapag may small decisions, big decisions gusto ko ini-inform ko pa rin sila. So medyo mahirap pa rin ‘yung separation talaga.”

As for their plan of having a baby, Toni admits asking Paul to delay it for a while.

“Sabi ko gusto ko muna i-experience ‘yong relationship naming dalawa,” she explained. “Like for eight years we’ve been together, hindi naman namin talaga na-experience ‘yong pagiging couple na mag-travel, to explore, to experience a lot of things. So ang sabi ko sa kanya sana magawa natin ngayon.”

“So siguro next year,” she added.

The two are also open to working again with each other, with Toni noting that she wanted Paul to produce or direct the first independent film she’ll do if the management allows her.
