Jane Oineza, Jeron Teng maintain constant communication

MANILA, Philippines - Jane Oineza said all is well between her and Jeron Teng.

The two have been linked since last year as Jeron became very vocal about his feelings for the Kapamilya actress.

Recent reports note that their romance was only short-lived as they're now seldom seen together.

"Gano'n pa rin naman po sa sinasabi namin dati, ayun," Jane replied when asked about her status with the De La Salle basketball player, in an interview on Friday. "Private muna kasi we're focused na lang muna dito sa show. Work muna and siya rin naman, career muna."

"Consistent pa rin 'yong communication. But malapit na ang UAAP, tapos ako mayro'n nitong show. So focus muna sa career," she added. "Kasi marami namang tao dyan na hindi naman nila talaga alam 'yong totoong kuwento. Basta kami alam namin kung ano talagang nangyayari behind the cameras, behind everything."

Meanwhile, Jane is happy that her ABS-CBN afternoon drama series "Nasaan Ka nang Kailangan Kita" has been extended. The show started airing in January.

"Siyempre po nag-pray po ako na maging successful, pero hindi ko inasahan na magtatagal ng ganito tapos ma-extend pa kami," she said about the show. "Thank you sa lahat nang nag-support. 'Yong lahat nang sumubaybay mula noong start hanggang ngayon."

Jane promised that a lot of surprises will happen in their show, especially with her character.

Since her role takes on the sensitive issue of teenage pregnancy, the Kapamilya actress gave advice to girls who are going through a similar situation.

"Just be strong and makinig sa mga advice ng tao like their mother, their parents. Kasi I think lahat naman ng advice nila is para sa ikabubuti mo," she said.

"Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita" airs Monday to Friday, after "Flordeliza."
