Miley Cyrus to host MTV Video Music Awards
The unpredictable Miley Cyrus has made the past two editions of the MTV Video Music Awards extremely interesting. Two years ago, she shocked by waving a styrofoam finger while wearing only bra and panties and twerking with all her might with Robin Thicke. Then last year, she sent up the stage a homeless young man to accept her Video of the Year trophy for Wrecking Ball to call attention to My Friend’s Place, which provides shelter to homeless youth in the US.
So it is only logical that many of you are wondering what Miley will do this year. I am honestly wondering. More so after I got the news that Miley will be hosting the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. This will be held on Aug. 30 with live telecast over MTV Pinoy at 9 a.m. on Aug. 31 from the Microsoft Theater, formerly the Nokia in Los Angeles. And this means that the daring Miley will have that stage to do what she wants with it for over an hour. So, will she be twerking with her tongue out again or will she be the sedate concerned artist of last year? We will find out soon.
And now to the main item on today’s menu, the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards nominees. The usual suspects lead the pack. Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé got the most number of nominations.
