Denise & Arjo play OFW lovers in MMK

MANILA, Philippines - Denise Laurel and Arjo Atayde (photo) will topbill ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) tonight as overseas Filipino workers, Andrea and Jason, who got married in haste in Saudi Arabia due to an unplanned pregnancy.

Despite having been abandoned by Jason when she delivered a stillborn baby, Andrea reconciles with her husband a year later, hoping to build the happy family she has always dreamt of with him. However, four years later, Andrea discovers all the lies that Jason has expertly woven, including their long-annulled marriage.

Will love be enough to cover up all the hurt caused by the lies of one’s beloved?

The MMK episode will also feature John Arcilla, Kelly Dela Cruz, Maureen Mauricio, Jamilla Obispo, Dale Baldillo, Menggie Cobarrubias and Bryan Termulo. It is directed by Garry Fernando and written by Joan Habana. MMK is led by business unit head Malou Santos and creative manager Mel del Rosario.

MMK airs Saturday nights at 7:15 after Home Sweetie Home.
