Marian: No comment on Karylle's two-timer ex-boyfriend revelation

MANILA, Philippines - Marian Rivera refused to comment on Karylle's recent statement that she had a two-timing ex-boyfriend.

 

During the Friday episode of ABS-CBN's variety show "It's Showtime," Karylle revealed, upon the prodding of co-host Vice Ganda, that an ex-boyfriend of hers cheated on her. 

 

Karylle refused to name who the ex-boyfriend was. However, many netizens speculated that Karylle was pertaining to Dingdong Dantes. The ABS-CBN TV host and the newly-wed actor were together for several years before breaking up in 2008.

 

Karylle is now married to Yael Yuzon, while Dingdong and Marian tied the knot last December. 

 

In an interview with the press during a product launch over the weekend, Marian chose not to comment on the issue. 

 

"Binanggit ba nila ang pangalan ni Dingdong? Kung hindi naman wala akong sasabihin.  Pero kapag binanggit nila, doon na ako magri-react," Marian told Pang-Masa.

 

She added: "Basta ngayon, masaya ako sa pagiging Mrs. Dantes na paggising ko sa umaga, ang gwapo ng katabi ko."

 

Marian further narrated, "Yes, ipinagluluto ko siya lagi ng breakfast lalo na kung may maaga siyang trabaho. Simple lamang naman ang asawa ko, basta may tinapay siya na isinasawsaw sa kape, ayos na ang almusal niya. Sino ang unang gumigising? Kung sino ang may trabahong maaga. Sa pag-alis going to work, 'bye daddy” at “bye baby'."

 

Both Marian and Dingdong are working on new shows for their home network, months after they got married last December. 

 

"Ang nalalapit na pagsisimula ng bago kong soap na magsisimula kaming mag-taping sa second week of March, na ipakikita ko ang iba-ibang anggulo ng pag-ibig, yes, naiiba ang character na gagampanan ko, at patutunayan namin na hindi lamang mga beki ang dapat hangaan kundi ang tulad din sa role na gagampanan ko," Marian said.
