Daniel Matsunaga to Heart and Chiz: All the best

MANILA, Philippines - Daniel Matsunaga congratulated his ex-girlfriend Heart Evangelista who recently tied the knot with Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero.”

Daniel and Heart were together for almost two years until they mutually decided to end their relationship.

“Kilala ko siya and I know everything she passed through in her life and masaya siya ngayon,” Daniel said about Heart, in an interview on Wednesday. “So I'm very happy po, I'm very happy for Chiz also, I met Chiz already. I really wish them all the best.”

Daniel is single for three years now, and although he's ready to enter a new relationship “siguro ngayon focus muna ako sa trabaho ko,” he said.

He also clarified reports that romantically links him and his “Two Wives” co-star Erich Gonzales. The Kapamilya model-actor said they're close friends, which started when they guested for the Palawan episode of “Kris TV.”

“Tsaka siyempre respeto ko [rin] sa boyfriend niya,” he adds, referring to Erich' non-showbiz boyfriend.

Their show is down to its last three weeks, where the viewers will finally know what will happen to the lives of Janine, Yvonne, Victor, Albert, and Kenjie. It airs Monday to Friday, after “Forevermore.”
