Oliver Tolentino dresses celebs at the Oscars

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Hollywood-based Filipino designer Oliver Tolentino designed the dresses of several celebrities at the 87th Academy Awards last Sunday night.

Left: Janne Tyldum, wife of Best Director nominee Morten Tyldum, wore a stunning gun-metal fully-handbeaded bareback column gown with plunging neckline and accented with a black crepe de chine detachable train to the Oscars. Morten directed The Imitation Game which was also nominated for Best Picture. Its writer, Graham Moore, won for Best Adapted Screenplay Award.

And later at the very exclusive Vanity Fair Oscar party, Eliza Taylor (right), star of the TV show The 100, chose Oliver’s black eyelet silk organza ball gown with an off-white bustier inner gown.
