Wolfcop, comedy horror

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Winner at the Arizona Underground Film Festival and nominee at the 2015 International Fantasy Film Awards (Fantasporto 2015), Wolfcop is the latest animal hybrid cop movie produced.

Deadcentral.com cited that Wolfcop is a movie that knows exactly what it is and basically winks at the audience the entire time. In the movie, alcoholic cop Lou Garou (Leo Fafard) blacks out and wakes up in unfamiliar surroundings, and things start to take a strange turn. Crime scenes seem oddly familiar. Lou’s senses are heightened, and when the full moon is out, he’s a rage-fueled werewolf. As introduced, Lou is a small-town police officer who is haunted by his past. Though he once had ambitions of being a good police officer, he has settled into a routine of failure.

From Crystalsky Multimedia, Wolfcop opens today in cinemas.
