Bianca Manalo is back in a teleserye

MANILA, Philippines —  Bianca Manalo is happy to be back doing a television series as she joins the cast of the upcoming "On the Wings of Love."

Her last major project with ABS-CBN is "Aryana" in 2013.

"Sobrang overwhelming, sobrang saya, hanggang ngayon hindi ako makapaniwalang nakabalik ako, sa serye ng [ABS-CBN]," Bianca said in an interview on Friday.

"Natutuwa ako kasi ito 'yong forte ko, e, 'yong comedy. So malalabas ko kung sino talaga si Bianca. So hindi ako mahihirapan, looking forward akong mag-taping everyday kasi alam kong hindi siya work," Manalo said.

The show stars James Reid and Nadine Lustre, which is also their first major TV series with ABS-CBN and will air this 2015.

The former beauty queen laid low in the industry for two years after having issues with her former manager. She's now co-managed by a new manager and Star Magic.

"I'm with Star Magic, Tita Mariole [Alberto] got me, siya talaga 'yong tumulong sa akin dito sa ABS-CBN," she relates. "Kaya nagpapasalamat ako talaga kay Tita Mariole sa tiwala."

Aside from her upcoming teleserye, Bianca is also part of the 26K in "Deal or No Del," hosted by Luis Manzano.
