Kim Chiu, Xian Lim welcome 2015 with international projects

MANILA, Philippines - Kim Chiu was present during the premier of Xian Lim's film “Paddington,” which will be in cinemas on February 11.

“Ang ganda rin ng opportunities na nabibigay sa amin this year. Nasimulan ang 2015 namin ng kakaiba,” she said.

The two are part of separate international projects: Kim was tapped by Disney to portray Mulan for their Disney Princesses calendar, while Xian lends his voice to the lead character Paddington the bear.

She's also excited for the upcoming project of their love team, which is a primetime teleserye.

“Excited na rin ako kasi ang tagal na rin namin hindi nagkakasama, and regalo na rin namin 'to sa fans namin na nag-aabang sa amin sa primetime,” she said.

On the other hand, Xian is excited for everyone to see his film.

“I'm really happy na it's finally here, all the hard work, the promotion has finally paid off. We're excited, it's a family movie and para sa lahat ito,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kim was asked to react on what Xian said during an interview on the February 4 episode of “Aquino & Abunda Tonight.”

The Kapamilya actor was asked how is his relationship with Kim, to which he replied, “Nararamdaman ko malapit na, e. I think lume-level up na ako kay Kim.”

During the interview in the premier, Kim smiled and shyly replied, “Okay naman, wow, masaya naman ang Valentine's siguro.”
