A colorful road trip with GMA Fiesta

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Since 2012, GMA’s Kapuso Souvenir Store, also known as Fiesta, has been bringing the Kapuso experience to viewers in Luzon with its wide range of souvenir items and collectibles.

The unique initiative, spearheaded by the network’s Viewer-Directed Marketing Division, is a converted vehicle which doubles as a souvenir shop.

Launched in January 2012, the store has been producing one-of-a-kind items featuring GMA Network and its programs.

From umbrellas and jackets during the rainy season to caps and fans during the hot weather, Fiesta has something for every occasion. It also offers statement T-shirts using the network’s famous tag lines and values as well as items that showcase Kapuso programs.

In an effort to reach more viewers, Fiesta embarked on a road trip dubbed Ready, Set, North! in 2013 which brought the store to Tarlac, Pangasinan, Baguio, La Union, Vigan, Laoag and Pagudpud.

After that successful trip, the CALABARZON Caravan was launched in 2014 which saw the store going to Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.

The store also rolls out to major regional festivals such as the Bangus Festival in Dagupan, Bangkero Festival in Pagsanjan, Obando Festival in Bulacan, Panagbenga Festival in Baguio, Peñafrancia Festival in Naga, Pistay Dayat in Lingayen and Sublian Festival in Batangas.

Fiesta also visits school events and participates in bazaars.
