Hayden Kho wants to settle rift with Katrina Halili privately
MANILA, Philippines - Hayden Kho likes to keep it private in case he will get the chance to talk with Katrina Halili.
“Hindi pa po kami nag-uusap,” Hayden replied when asked if he already talked to Katrina, in an interview on Tuesday.
“Pero kung mag-uusap po kami hindi n'yo ho malalaman 'yon. Kasi 'yong mga ganyang bagay hindi na po dapat nakasulat [sa balita],” he added.
It could be recalled that the two were involved in a controversy after a sex video leaked in 2009. This controversy has caused Hayden medical license to be revoked.
Two years after his suspension, Kho's legal counsel filed an appeal to regain his license, which was allowed as stated in the rule of Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Until last year, Hayden regained his license after showing “proof of good behavior” before PRC.
“It feels like home,” he said smiling, when asked how he felt after getting back his license. “Siyempre 'yon talaga 'yong career natin na ginusto noong bata pa ko. 'Yon ang hilig kong ginagawa bago ako na-side track [sa showbiz]. Now I got my medical license back and I'm home.”
After everything that has happened to him, Hayden said he already admitted to himself the mistakes he has done “before I welcomed God in my life,” he said.
“Hindi mo tatanggapin ang Panginoon, hindi magiging sincere 'yon kung hindi mo ginagawa 'yong una mong dapat gawin which is 'yong i-humble mo ang sarili mo, tanggapin mo na nagkamali ka, tsaka mo tanggapin ang Diyos,” he explained.
He's now an Apologetic and attending the Christ Commission Fellowship, an evangelical Christian church.
Hayden is also hosting TV5's public service show “Healing Galing sa TV” with Dra. Edinell Calvario. The show gives its viewers information about different health issues and how to treat them through natural and clinical process.
Hayden admitted he had hesitations at first if he'll accept the project.
“Kasi siyempre alam n'yo naman ang experience ko sa showbiz. Hindi ko naman sinabi na showbiz ang may kasalanan, pero hindi ako sure kung bagay ako do'n o kung meant to be,” he explained.
After knowing that the show is closely related to his medical field, he immediately said yes.
“Healing Galing sa TV” airs Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. in TV5.
