Daniel Padilla revisits humble beginnings

MANILA, Philippines - KathNiel fans are raving about the newest project of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo — the remake of Pangako Sa ‘Yo, where Daniel and Kathryn will reprise the lead roles as Angelo and Yna. The project represents another outpouring of blessings, especially for Daniel who has been in the business for only four years.

With 19-year-old Daniel’s fast rise to stardom, his mom Karla couldn’t help but reminisce the time when she, as a single mom to four kids, could barely make both ends meet. In some interviews with media, she would share the difficulties she experienced while raising Daniel and his siblings.

For his part, what Daniel finds hard to forget was how they used to endure having no electricity in their rented condo whenever mom Karla was not able to pay their electricity bill.

If only Meralco already had Kuryente Load at that time, Karla and her brood would have been able to manage their household electricity consumption better and thereby prevented sad memories of their electricity being cut off.

Meralco’s newest prepaid service dubbed Kuryente Load was only launched in the middle of this year. It aids household’s budget management as customers can load electricity in small peso denominations of 100, 200, 300, 500 and 1,000 to fit their budget. Meralco also sends customers daily notifications on the status of their load, so that they can better manage their electricity consumption.

Available in Angono, Cainta and Taytay, Rizal and in Sampaloc and Tondo, Manila, Meralco Kuryente Load will soon be launched in more areas nationwide.
